Lead to Ledger
Salesforce Revenue Cloud, implemented from the first quote to bank reconciliation
Two decades and more than 60 full lifecycle Salesforce Quote to Cash implementations for our technology customers.
What the revenue lifecycle asks of its data
The customer lifecycle on one data model
Technology revenue is won once and changed many times.

What is sold is what is invoiced
Configuration, negotiated price and contract terms travel to fulfillment, billing and revenue without re-keying.
Agents perform the repetitive work
Quoting, approval summaries, renewal assembly and collections, delegated to Agentforce agents within policy that people define.
Every channel served by the same engine
Direct sellers, partners and self-service buyers draw on one catalog, one pricing engine and one install base.
New models without re-implementation
Subscription, usage and hybrid offerings introduced as catalog and pricing changes.
Why one data model matters

What a Revenue Cloud implementation covers
CPQ to Revenue Cloud Migration
Pricing, configuration, contracts and subscriptions redesigned and carried across from Salesforce CPQ.
Revenue Cloud Quoting and Approvals
The first deal configured, priced, approved and provisioned from one catalog without re-keying.
Contract Lifecycle Management
The contract held as data, governing every later amendment, renewal and billing schedule.
Renewal Automation and Expansion
Every change and every renewal drawn from what the customer already owns.
Revenue Cloud Billing Implementation
Revenue leakage closed, and recurring revenue forecast from the records that bill it.
How Acellas consultants run a Revenue Cloud implementation
The method rests on two decades of Salesforce Quote to Cash.
Design with Sales and Finance
Catalog, pricing and contract model designed around how the business sells and bills.
Prepare the data
Accounts, products, contracts and subscriptions cleansed, migrated and reconciled to source.
Build as code
Pricing procedures and decision tables versioned and promoted with the metadata through the release pipeline.
Test the whole lifecycle
Amendments and renewals tested before every release, since most technology revenue arrives through them.
Support what goes live
The people who built it support and improve it after go-live.

Questions about Revenue Cloud implementation
What is Salesforce Revenue Cloud?
Salesforce Revenue Cloud is the Salesforce product that runs the revenue lifecycle on one data model: catalog, pricing, quotes, contracts, orders, billing and usage. Salesforce sells it in editions, among them Revenue Cloud Growth and Revenue Cloud Advanced. One engine serves direct sellers, partners and self-service buyers, and every record traces back to the quote that created it.
What does a Revenue Cloud implementation include?
It includes the catalog, pricing, quoting, approvals, contracts, orders, billing and usage, together with the data beneath them. Our architects design the hand-offs to fulfillment systems, the ERP and revenue recognition, and test amendments and renewals as thoroughly as new deals, so the scope runs from the first quote to the next renewal.
How does Quote to Cash differ from Lead to Ledger?
Quote to Cash runs from the quote to the payment; Lead to Ledger, the name Acellas gives its practice, spans the whole customer lifecycle. It begins with the first lead, runs through the quote, contract, invoice and revenue recognition, and continues through every amendment and renewal, because after the first year most technology revenue arrives that way.
Questions on pricing, systems and agents
Does Revenue Cloud support usage-based and hybrid pricing?
Yes. Revenue Cloud supports subscription, usage and hybrid pricing on one catalog. It rates consumption with base, tiered, negotiated and attribute-based rates, including token pricing for AI products, and holds wallets, balances, grants and overage, so a new pricing model arrives as a change to the catalog and pricing rather than as a new implementation.
How does Revenue Cloud work with an ERP?
Revenue Cloud passes orders, invoices and revenue data to the ERP through an integration. Our team has built NetSuite and other ERP hand-offs for invoicing and revenue recognition, and confirms before go-live that quote, contract and invoice agree, so Finance can rely on the figures on both sides.
Where do Agentforce agents fit in the revenue lifecycle?
Agentforce agents take on the repetitive revenue work: quotes, approval summaries, renewal packages and collections. An agent acts only as well as the records beneath it, which is why our data experts prepare the catalog, contract and asset data first; the DataOps page describes that work in depth.
Who leads the work at Acellas?
Our architects lead it, drawing on two decades of Salesforce Quote to Cash and more than 60 full lifecycle implementations for technology companies. The same people design, build and test the work and remain to support it after go-live, so the people who know each rule are the people who change it.
